Born from the mechanics of the Pocket Sai, the XL Gladius Dagger boasts an extension of 22.5 inches when opened, retracts to a 14 inch self-sheathed mass of hardened stainless steel.
The blade is made from a massive solid plate of Sandvik 14C28N Stainless steel, an alloy that tops the charts in toughness, its AEB-L with an upgraded corrosion resistance, this is the toughest stainless I am aware exists and I choose it for its toughness and capability when taking an impact.
