        Illegal in some states

Before you buy this make sure you check with your local laws before hand because in the state of Michigan where I live this is classified as a sai and can not be an everyday carry or used in self defense in any way

The button got pushed while clipped in my pocket and it poked a hole through my pocket and was sticking out the front of my shorts while walking around so you might consider putting some sort of lip around that

I'm sorry you had an unfortunate experience. The mechanism is a two step process to open which does requires the blade to be motivated while the button is pressed. I myself made a whole in my own pocket once, the reason was I had reached into my pocket for another tool passing my hand over the button and opening it myself. Only found out later after finding the whole.

The design is intended for urgent response, if i add features that impede the button, I've considered adding a safety or adding a small elevated surface etc, it also impedes the ability to open it at a moment a person's fine motor skills are likely compromised. So safety features become an increased complication to its primary task. I carry the same Talon version and decided to remove it from my pocket when digging for anything i keep in the same pocket, and haven't had any false openings since.

If you would like to return the knife I'm happy to refund your purchase if you are not satisfied.

Thank you for the valuable feedback and support,
